Places I remember

There are places I'll remember

I took my first flight in 1968 when I was 19, across the English Channel, which took not much more than 15 minutes. Since then I have visited many places, almost always for holidays. These are a few of my most memorable.

Hadrian's Wall: The 70 AD Trek

This walk was originally planned to commemorate my 70th birthday in 2018 but was cancelled due to treatment for cancer. Rearranged for 2021 following my recovery, it was again cancelled when Northumberland was suddenly closed due to Covid. Finally, in May 2023, I was able to make the journey, accompanied by my friends Robin and Vera. Here is a record of our journey.

Yorkshire Ley Lines

Living in Leeds, Yorkshire in the 1970s, I discovered ley lines.
